Generating YSL Reports in Voyager Service Manager
All YSL reports that are generated in Voyager Service Manager (whether you designed the report with YSL Classic or YSL.Net) require an associated Yardi script file from which to run a filter.
The time required to generate a YSL report is based on several factors. If it is run as a YSL.Net report, it generates as much as 15 times faster than a YSL Classic report. Any YSL report with the following criteria takes longer to generate:

Simple reports run in YSL.Net should be available for review within seconds.
To generate a YSL report through Voyager Service Manager

You must clear the Run as YSL Classic check box if you want the YSL report to generate via the YSL.Net report generating engine.

From any Voyager menu set, select Reports > SQL Reports. The Report Titles screen appears.
The Report Titles section shows the Yardi scripts that exist in the reports path whose names match the SQL Reports Prefixes established though the setup of Accounts and Options. For more information, see Voyager Accounts and Options in the Yardi Voyager Core Setup Guide.

Select a YSL report and click Submit. The associated filter appears.

If you set the Destination field to an email distribution, click the Advanced button and ensure that the appropriate email address is set up for the recipient.

If you set the Destination field to save to an .xls file, the generated YSL report is available from the Conductor Report Monitor dialog. You can open and review the file in Excel.

If you set the Destination field to save to a .pdf file, you can open and review the YSL report after it is generated into an Adobe .pdf file.

Click Submit.
