Entering Offset Values

The offset value is the number of months before or after the date that is passed into a YSL date function as a parameter. A negative offset value indicates the number of months prior to the entered date, while a positive offset value indicates the number of months after the entered date.

When creating or editing a YSL report, enter the offset value in the Months Delta parameter field of the selected function.

An Operating Forecast YSL report is a typical example, as shown in the following graphic.

Enter a 0 (zero) in the Months Delta field for no change.
