About Yardi Spreadsheet Link

With Yardi Spreadsheet Link, you can generate financial, property, and other reports directly from your Yardi database as pre-formatted, user-designed Microsoft Excel workbooks, called YSL reports.

Yardi Spreadsheet Link is intended for property management professionals, accountants, and portfolio managers who design custom reports in Excel. You can distribute a YSL report across your organization; any user that has Excel can open it.

If you are already familiar with Excel, you do not need to learn a new program to design YSL reports. You can leverage all the power of Excel to manipulate and format your data as it is generated out of Yardi Voyager or Yardi Enterprise. You do not need knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), experience with relational databases, or understanding of Yardi Voyager Database Schema to successfully design YSL reports.

Yardi Enterprise and Yardi Voyager installations include a number of sample YSL templates. You can use these templates as examples, or as a starting point to create your own YSL reports.

Excel limits YSL to 65,530 rows and 255 columns, because YSL reports are generated as Excel 97-2003 .xls workbooks. There is no workaround to avoid this limitation.
