Charge Procedures
This section describes how to add lease charges to residents, increase residents' monthly rent amounts, post one-time charges to residents' ledgers, and apply deposits to residents' outstanding charges.
Lease Charges
Lease charges are charges that Voyager applies to residents' ledgers every month. Typically, a resident will have more than multiple lease charges--such as rent, cable, and so on. Most residents at a property will have the same types of lease charges, but their amounts may vary depending on their unit and rental options. You can add lease charges to a resident by performing one of the following procedures:

Voyager applies lease charges only when you post monthly charges. For more information, see “Posting Monthly Charges” in the Voyager Core User's Guide.
One-Time Charges
One-time charges are single charges to residents, such as repair or cleaning costs. Voyager adds one-time charges to residents' ledgers after you post them.
