ETL Import and Export Procedures Overview

Typically, organizations use Yardi Task Runner to automate and schedule ETL processes. For more information about Task Runner setup and operation, see the Yardi Service Manager Installation and Setup Guide. You can also use manual procedures to import or export data at any time. The manual method imports or exports a file or a set of files using Voyager's front-end interface.

If you use scheduled ETL functionality, the extract/transform/load process occurs automatically. If you use a third-party utility for extraction, you must place the extracted data in XML or CSV format in the appropriate location, after which the transform and load processes occurs.
