Scanning Documents
Document Manager does not interface directly with scanner hardware. Documents must be scanned and saved to your hard drive or another accessible storage medium before you can use Document Manager to upload and process them. Files to be processed by Document Manager must be saved in one of the following formats: .tif (or .tiff), .gif, .jpg (or .jpeg), or .bmp file.
If you want to use Document Manager with multiple-page documents, scan each page as a separate file, but name the scanned pages in a manner that makes it easy to determine the document name and page order--for example, AceInvoicePage1.jpg, AceInvoicePage2.jpg, and so on. You can combine the pages in Document Manager.
