Property-Management Fees Overview

Property managers receive management fees as payment for their work. These payments can be called management fees or commissions. In thissection, management fees and commissions are the same thing.

Voyager offers two features for processing management fees: Pay Commission and Management Fees. The following table compares the features.

Setup	First, select the Commissionable check box on the Account Info screen for each G/L account that you want to pay commission on. Second, specify the Commission % in the Ownership screen for each property.	First, create fee pools that specify the G/L accounts and percentages or flat amounts for commissions. Second, apply one or more fee pools to each property.
